As COVID-19 continues to grow as a public health concern, we want to do our part to slow the spread of the virus and keep our volunteers and community safe. As such, all in-person programs, projects, and events involving volunteers are on hold until further notice. Virtual and at-home opportunities will continue to be offered when available. Rest assured, we remain committed to our mission and our focus remains on our donors, donor families and those waiting for lifesaving transplants. We will continue to closely monitor the public health landscape and keep you updated. Thank you for your continued support and dedication to Iowa Donor Network’s mission.

- Public Education and Speaking Engagements - Sharing a personal story is one of the most effective ways to educate the public about the importance of organ and tissue donation. We receive requests for speakers from various groups in the community--driver's education, civic, healthcare organizations, multicultural, faith-based and many others.
- Tabling Events: Discuss organ and tissue donation with the general public and encourage people to register. Examples include: community health fairs, blood drives, awareness walks and runs, sporting events and hospital events.
- Community Events - Throughout the year we organize and participate in various events which require volunteer support.
- Administrative Support - There are opportunities to assist IDN staff with administrative projects throughout the year.
